The Fargo DTC 4000 card printer is the most adaptable which can be personalized completely to incorporate changes as and when required. Its cartridges can be easily loaded and replacement is simple. It can be upgraded according to field requirements, and additions that can be made include dual sided printing for functional purposes, encoding of different types including HID proximity, iCLASS contactless or contact chip. Other additions that can be made include high capacity ID card hopper, Ethernet connectivity and options to print a UV layer for security purposes on cards. The printer can also be password protected to prevent misuse and to ensure that only authorized personnel can operate it for printing of cards and badges.
