The LP 2844 direct thermal and the LP 2844 thermal transfer desktop labels printers form part of the Zebra 28-series product family of printers offering 4 inch print width. Both models are rugged in design with their double walled casing that makes them damage resistant. Both are equipped with a new-generation controller board motor and power supply that helps a print speed of 4ips. They also have an improved printhead, which provides a 203 dpi resolution that substantially improves the quality of print. Above all, the ability to choose between direct thermal or thermal transfer style of printing technology, makes the printers ideal for abroad range of printing applications involving labels.
