Combination of patented technology, a futuristic design and high performance – all are available in this new addition in the Voyager Series. Besides being lightweight VoyagerBT gives an easy scanning solution. The scanner's functionality is mainly oriented on the patented CodeGate feature. The scanner can be started with a touch of the CodeGate button that activates the IR sensor. Once a bar code is scanned, only the CodeGate button is required to be pressed and the data is transmitted to the host through a wireless connection.

For any user, the laser-lit is easy to maneuver and to lining up on a desired bar code, makes VoyagerBT perfect for applications such as menu scanning. You can easily scan large or heavy products comfortably as VoyagerBT offers the ability to scan bulky items without the unnecessary movement made by the customers or check out personnel.

There is the ability to decode Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) bar codes in VoyagerBT. This can be used in applications including supermarket, shopping malls, departmental stores, warehouses, retail outlets and so on.

FocusBTTM is the hand-held area imager that combines Bluetooth® connectivity with proficient FirstFlashTM scan performance that outperforms all wireless 2D scanners.

Perfect for serving supply-chain management and retail business, this omnidirectional scanner combines the exclusivity of Bluetooth V1.2 mobile technology with other facilities already found in the popular Focus MS1690. FocusBT is also used in health-care applications. FocusBT’s FirstFlash technology decodes all standard bar codes in a single flash - including 1D, 2D, microPDF, RSS, PDF417, EAN/UCC Composite, Postal Codes and Matrix.

Metrologic’s patented CodeGate® and RangeGate® technologies are featured in FocusBT. CodeGate® technology performs data-transmission with a single button-push after zeroing on the required code. With RangeGate®, FocusBT can scan and store a wide range of bar codes even when it is out of the host’s communication range. The stored scans are automatically downloaded to the host once the connection is reestablished.

For image-capturing applications, a high-resolution CMOS sensor with a powerful processor is combined in FocusBT that further enables a wide range of outputs. Moreover, with automatic infrared object detection, FocusBT can be operated in several power-save modes, using a USB Bluetooth adaptor and two rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Each battery gives approximately 9,000 scans per charge or 12 hours of scanning.
