The Datalogic Gryphon GBT4100 is a general purpose handheld linear imager and barcode reader that has the added advantage of Bluetooth Wireless Technology.This feature rich device is convenient to use and place anywhere without the mess of attached cables that also restrict mobility. The Bluetooth facility helps to transmit data to the host computer and other Bluetooth enabled devices.
The feature rich GBT4100 is suitable for industries where mobility is an asset like retail, healthcare, banking and the light industrial sector. It functions perfectly In external environments with its IP52 sealing that protects it from dust and moisture, a drop resistance level of 5.9 ft, and a tough body.
Added features include an excellent scanning speed, an exceptionally high reading resolution and a long lasting lithium ion battery. When connected to the base station, it can provide a radio range of 99ft. It also comes with a three year warranty that serves to protect the device from costly repairs.
The GBT4100 can be used as a handheld device or used while charging, which ensures adequate battery levels for optimum functioning. Its lithium ion battery can conduct 33000 scans on a single charge. Its batch mode facility enables storing 1200 barcodes in its memory and this makes its operation easier even beyond its range. The 'Green-spot' feature provides a good read feedback and this helps to enhance its productivity in difficult environments.
The multiple interface capabilities like USB, Keyboard Wedge, RS-232 and Wand Emulation are available in the GBT4130 model.
