Elegant appeal with rugged design - The CS40 looks sleek and slick but is one of the most rugged devices that is sealed against pollutants and tough to be used outdoors in all kinds of harsh, external environments. It is perfect for front line operation by the work force that needs to take instant decisions on the spot.
Drop resistant – The CS40 is meant for external locations and for work while moving to difficult locations. It has been designed to withstand multiple drops to concrete from as high as 1.2 meters, and with an encased battery, it is able to continue working with no risk of the battery getting dislodged on impact and abruptly losing data or disrupting the task. Its water proof backlit keypad is combined with a chemically strengthened glass touch panel to make it last longer.
Integrated scanning capability- The CS40 comes with a laser type aimer for scanning at high speeds and accuracy of all 1D and 2D barcodes. It is perfect for inventory and stock management, delivery applications and ordering businesses. It is most suited for 2D barcode scanning of different symbologies and its 3 mega pixel camera helps capture photos that can be sent to the office instantly for verifying.
Business ready- The CS40 comes loaded with the Intermec SmartSystems and can be instantly activated with device settings and configuration to be ready for result oriented tasks. SmartSystems also provides automatic updates and changes in configuration to keep maintenance issues at bay.
