Elf is the newest offering from Datalogic Mobile. The professional next generation Personal Digital Assistant incorporates the most advanced technology and the highest speed performance in a rugged form factor to make it suitable for all tough applications like field sales, field service, retail, delivery and logistics.
The Elf’s ergonomic design and compact body makes it easy to use with a single hand for a long period of time. Its on screen data is made more presentable with an accelerometer, and on-screen navigation is facilitated by a guitar-type pick stylus.

The Elf is equipped with a 1D laser scanner and a 2D barcode imager to be able to scan numerous barcode varieties. Communication with Elf is facilitated by four types of wireless technologies in a single unit. These include a Bluetooth EDR for quick transfer of data, GPS for directions and location based applications, Cisco certified security for 802.11a/b/g and UMTS HSDPA enabling real time communication beyond the enterprise.
The Elf comes with the latest version of Windows Mobile 6.5, Datalogic SDK and tools that help to integrate voice, videos and pictures to improve on existing software solutions.
