The Metrologic MS5145 Eclipse is a laser handheld single-line scanner that comes with patented CodeGate technology that helps the user target the specific barcode and transmit data in a single motion of a button push. It is ideal for menu scanning POS applications and document processing in inventory control. It has a longer working range and wider scan field than the usual CCD barcode scanners. It comes with PowerLink user-replaceable cables and user-friendly programming through MetroSelect barcodes.

The Metrologic Eclipse MS5145 is a hand-held single-line laser scanner. Eclipse is equipped with Metrologic’s patented CodeGate technology; it can be used for vivid purposes because of its great compatibility. CodeGate technology facilitates the user to access the bar code more easily. The data transmission is done just by the click of a button. This combination of technology integration makes the Eclipse a perfect selection for point-of-sale, inventory control, menu scanning and document processing.
Because of Metrologic’s state-of-the-art scanning technology, MS5145 Eclipse has a longer accessing range and wider scan field if compared with typical CCD. The width of scan lines grows more with the moving away of scanners from bar codes. Besides this, laser beam pulses make lining up of bar codes easy. When CodeSenseTM Mode senses a bar code, the laser beam automatically switches over to scan mode to activate CodeGate technology and thus ensures high-speed scanning with great accuracy. User-friendly programming and PowerLink user-replaceable cables are the standard features of Metrologic’s Eclipse MS5145.
