Handsfree Barcode Scanner
The Metrologic MS7580 Genesis scanner is the first presentation area imager that can decode all 1D, 2D and PDF codes and is therefore the perfect scanner for all types from manufacturing and healthcare to all types of POS applications. It comes with an increased scanner capability for superior performance. Its patented CodeGate technology aids menu scanning and is ideal for other scanning applications a s well. Its four dedicated memory banks can each store the entire range of configuration settings for keyboard wedge, RS 232, USB and 46xx RS485 interfaces. Migration to a new interface becomes possible with automatic cable detection and configuration that do away with the need to scan programming barcodes. Other patented technologies include the FirstFlash technology that comes with shielded LEDs that minimize the severe flashing usually found in imagers. It can scan seven barcodes in a single flash with CodeSelect, and TotalFreedom provides multiple possibilities to develop value added custom application modules absorbed directly by the MS7580 instead of being lodged in the host system.
