With a single button based operation, CodeGate technology offers a single-line mode (ideal for targeted or menu scanning) OrbitCG’s provided with 20-line aggressive scan pattern. This out-of-the-box, elegant and cost-effective solution helps in retail businesses and gives a long-term, robust mechanism. If the POS system or software is changed, OrbitCG easily upgrades the firmware via its patented MetroSet®2 configuration software – provided free by Metrologic. You can use either a USB or RS232 interface to perform configuration updates. Based on the original Orbit’s (model #7120) proven design, OrbitCG turns even the scanning of large and bulky objects into easy tasks. As an added enhancement, the scanning head is adjustable up to 30° so that objects of various sizes and shapes are accommodated.
