The Datalogic PowerScan PM8500 cordless area imager is meant for omni directional scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes along with the mobility that comes with the Star Cordless System. Its high-resolution Mega pixel-imaging sensor allows industrial applications to be completed flawlessly. It is available in three optic models including the Standard and High Density models that are suitable for barcode reading and the Wide Angle model meant for longer and larger barcodes. Its ergonomic design, well-balanced weight and its easily removable battery permit nonstop operation 24 hours a day.
