The Datalogic Power Scan PBT 7100 is one of the value for money handheld scanners meant for industrial data collection. The linear imaging barcode reader comes with wireless Bluetooth technology that helps eliminate cables and wires, increase reading speeds and unique optical design combines features normally found in 3 different scanners. It has a maximum code resolution of 3 mils, over 3 meters of reading distance and wide-angle code reading. Thus it proves its versatility in operation, is easy to use and with its intuitive reading becomes an extremely reasonable scanner.

The PowerScan PBT7100 bluetooth barcode scanner is quickly making its way to the front of the industry line. Because it is Bluetooth capable you will find that you have a lot of freedom with it as you are not going to be stuck with cords that may hold you down and it is actually very affordable.
You will find that you get a lot of different features in this one scanner so you will not need to worry about purchasing more equipment in order to get what you need to make your job as smooth and easy as possible. It is very easy to use the features like maximum code resolution, a nice reading distance and even wide angle reading that many people prefer.
The hardware within the scanner makes it super fast and reliable and it can complete approximately 400 scans per second so it is no wonder that it is the fastest one on the market that you can find. This is why it is often purchased for companies that need to work fast and efficiently.
Bluetooth can be used by connecting it at the base or by using an accurate hook up device so that you will be mobile up to 328 feet.
You will find out that the base station also has two different interface combinations that you can use. You can use the standard interface with a keyboard or the Pos interface if you would like.
It has a loud beeper as well as what is called “green spot” so that it will continue to work in loud areas. The features included on it allow you to start it up and use it with ease, even if you are new.
