The Metrologic MS1633 FocusBT is the most powerful imager in the cordless segment that is transforming operations of industries like healthcare, manufacturing, warehousing and retail. The scanner becomes convenient with the Bluetooth Technology incorporated into its design, and it is also able to store data that was scanned while moving beyond the Bluetooth radio range. Once within the range the data gets transferred automatically. Its omnidirectional “firstflash” scanning feature ensures that codes are picked up instantaneously from any angle. It can scan all types of codes like 1D, 2D, PDF417, RSS, EAN/UCC Composite, Matrix or Postal codes.

Ideal for meeting the requirements of retail and supply-chain management operations, the all directional MS1633 FocusBT scanner is equipped with the valuable Bluetooth V1.2 connectivity along with several features of the popular Focus MS1690. The FocusBT is also suitable for the data-capture applications in the healthcare industry. Despite its orientation, the FirstFlash technology of FocusBT can scan all standard barcodes in a solo flash such as the 1D, 2D, RSS, EAN/UCC Composite, microPDF, PDF417, Matrix and Postal Codes.
The FocusBT is developed with the patented CodeGate ® and RangeGate ® technology of Metrologic. The CodeGate ® technology focuses on the requisite code and then accomplishes data transmission simply with the press of a single switch.
Using the RangeGate ® technology, FocusBT reads and saves hundreds of barcodes when the device is situated outside the defined range of the host system connectivity. When the connection is established again, the saved readings get automatically downloaded to the host system.
In case of image-capture operations, the FocusBT joins a high-resolution CMOS sensor together with an influential processor which helps to produce a wide collection of outputs. Besides possessing an automatic infrared object detector, FocusBT also features many power-saving options, two re-chargeable lithium-ion batteries and a USB Bluetooth adaptor. Each battery can support scanning for 12 hours or about 9000 scans per charge.
