The Intermec EasyCoder PF4i is an efficient barcode printer with a 4” printer width and optional integrated wired or wireless Easy LAN networking capability. Designed for limited space environments, it works as a “smart client” that can perform user-defined functions. Its wireless interface uses the standard integrated 802.11-b/g radio that helps in providing 128-bit WEP encryption of network-relayed information. With a magnetic QuickMount printhead downtime is reduced to a bare minimum. It comes with the convenience of the inexpensive PC-compatible CompactFlash memory technology that assists in easy expansion of memory to allow extra fonts, graphics and formats besides printer firmware. Its ‘double clutching ribbon mechanism' helps in using different ribbons irrespective of their winding mechanism.
