Mid-Range Barcode Label Printer

The Intermec EasyCoder PD42 is a versatile and highly dependable printer meant for medium duty applications in environments like warehouses, transportation and manufacturing. It is the first Intermec printer with a graphic monochrome display and offers options to set printing parameters directly instead of having to go through the host system and wasting time. It prints variable data labels ceaselessly at the speed of 6 ips, and has a minimal downtime since it can take industry standard 8-inch label rolls and 450 m of ribbon. Paper of varying thickness can be used and options like ink-in and ink-out ribbon are also available. It comes with Smart Printing features normally associated with high performance printers and with the addition of Intermec's LabelShop Pro and XML Label, the PD42 becomes ready for XML printing environments. Its competitive price includes support for Unicode fonts and Intermec's Ready-to-work indicator. It also offers high-speed, multi-channel Ethernet in a segment of printers where connectivity is not normally available.
