The Zebra HC100 is the reliable new Patient I.D. Solution for easy wristband printing. Specifically designed for catering to the requirements of the healthcare industry, it is a cost effective and efficient alternative to laser printing.

Zebra Technologies has combined the trustworthy HC 100 direct thermal printer with the easy-loading cartridges of anti-microbial-coated wristbands, made exclusively by Zebra, and called Z-Band wristbands. The HC100 needs no formal training to be able to operate, since all that is required is fitting the wristband cartridge into the Zebra HC100 printer, and print out the label by feeding in the patient information, as and when required. This simple process is in sharp contrast to laser printing which requires the staff on duty to load forms into a special tray, print the labels, attach the label to the band and then laminate the band. Above all the HC100 printer has an in-built feature to detect wristband size as being adult, pedriatic or infant, and then automatically adjusts the settings for a label of that size with the quality intact.
