The screen on the Intermec  CK31 provides users the ability to easily read the screen in both indoor as well as outdoor environments. Due to a new quarter resolution screen equipped with touch screen technology the CK31 has the capability to run both text applications and the newer graphic interface that has become so popular in today’s market.
The new keyboard options give the CK31 handheld  a range of application flexibility that allows it to be ideal for any work place. Combined with the optional removable pistol grip this mobile data processor is ideal for environments that have a high level of repetitive scanning such as shipping, picking and cycle counting areas in the traditional warehouse. By offering a new wider area imaging availability the CK31 has the ability to support all one and two dimensional barcode symbologies.
The Intermec CK31 handheld computer offers an optional Div 2 certification for use in hazardous work environments. It is also equipped with a traditional 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connection that is Cisco Compatible in order to guarantee a top of the ling wireless network capability. It also has the option to install a wired communication dock for those businesses that prefer a wired host connection to wireless.
By complying with the 802.1x standards the Intermec CK31 is fully compatible with several of the existing networks that have LEAP support. It also comes packaged with a lithium-ion battery that is guaranteed to supply at least one full shifts usage before needing to change or charge the battery. Thanks to SmartSystems technology the CK31 can easily handle both peripheral and global data deployments.
