The Motorola Ap7131 has the distinction of being the industry’s first 802.11n Wireless Access Point which has a tri-radio design with an expanding capability to assist in three critical networking functions including high speed wireless client access for voice and data services, non-data applications like Wireless IPS sensor functionality that provides twenty-four protection to the wired and wireless network, and above all, a self-healing mesh network. It is the perfect replacement for a wired network that has Adaptive AP architecture which two operation modes, one as a stand-alone point of access, and two, as Wireless switch access point that helps in centralized management. The AP-7131 is completely DFS compliant and can go up to speeds of 600 Mbps per Access Point, which is six times the bandwidth of the 802.11a/g Access Point. It can be used anywhere and everywhere since it is an-all in one solution for small to medium business setups, with its wired and wireless networking infrastructure, integrated router, gateway, firewall, VPN, Power-over-Ethernet, DHCP and AAA radius servers.
